Interview

Well, first you want to get the actual offer, but when you do you could mention to them what your availability is for earlier classes. People do drop out after scheduling sometimes, spouse giving birth, illness or injury, or sometimes even accepting a CJO elsewhere. It is sometimes possible to move up a class or two. But I’d wait until you actually have the offer in hand to even ask the question of what’s the earliest class date available. Then it will show eagerness. That’s better than having it come across as arrogance even though - yeah, barring outright fraud between what you claimed on your application and what your logbooks actually show, the CJO is now probably yours to lose.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe classes are filled through August or at least part way through August. Congrats on the logbook check, as others have stated as long as you don't offend anyone it's a mere formality.

Congratulations! From what I understand the job is basically yours at this point. Still waiting for my initial email for a phone call. What was your virtual interview like?
