Reality is there is no reason to use it. The real key to getting through Spirit training is figuring out what to study and when. I don't think they do a very good job of laying out the order, however they do give you all of the information. Everything found in one step prep and more is found in the material provided by the training department.

That website is more useful than one step prep and is provided by Spirit, though for some reason some instructors do not like it.
Do not get caught in the trap of trying to use the cheat sheets that every one seems to have, they can help but are not the only thing to study.

I bought one step prep and regret it. It had some hydraulic control surfaces wrong and I immediately stopped using it because of it.

Limitations and Memory Items (Obviously a must)
Study the Preliminary Flow, Captain and FO Cockpit Prep Flow (Go through the flows on your ethos cockpit familiarization app and click on each button and study what you are actually doing)
Know all the buttons, fault lights/Tests on the overhead panel. (It is not as daunting as it looks since most buttons share the same faults) **This is what really got me prepared for the oral**
Know this and the basics of each system (fight your instincts to know every little thing about every system...)
FLTOPSTRAINING.com is great for CPTs and Sims, (good luck!)
Pass your oral and your training will be more enjoyable. Its a lot of work up front but quickly gets less stressful once you start simming.

I have an interview coming up, just for planning purposes what does the training timeline look like? During this 56-70 days, how many days off are you given roughly? Is it enough to travel home? Any info is much appreciated. Just trying to prepare the wife and kids for what might be coming. Thanks!

Hello all,
I have training in about 1.5 months and found these references from earlier in the thread. My question is are these still up to date specifically the 320 procedures handbook vol 1, limitations/memory items, and 320 advanced systems guide.
Can anyone give a good reference to a good 320 app as well?
If there is any sort of other references not listed let me know! I have access to spiritU and have read what things to know cold by the time I get there
Here is the links that where mentioned before

I don't know if this requires credentials or if it's public domain, but the videos link to YouTube, so I think it's ok to put the info out. If it's Spirit property and not meant to be accessible, I'll ask the mod to take it down.
I find it so useful it would be a crime to have them stop putting these out.
I find the videos very helpful, but we've had tweaks in some of the procedures, and a change in checklists, so watch out, don't count on it as a total package. We're preparing for aircraft software upgrades, and a collated manual app. I want Sebastian's hair and the old guys demeanor.
