True, however aqp here now for recurrent is still the old pc mindset of stump the chump with a few check airman. I’ve heard JetBlue treats AQP much more like a learning environment as it should be.

Not really. Your non-aqp checkride is a MV with stalls and steep turns. That's it. If you can't manage that... I don't know what to tell you.

Prepping for your aqp MV you've already done those approaches as well.

Not necessarily. Some items are trained to proficiency like stalls and steep turns. Also helps evaluating decision making skills. Not to mention if you make a mistake that you normally don’t make, you can redo it on the spot. A huge saver on checkrides

they really dont want you to know more than what is in the study guide. so actually teaching and explaining the systems(minus flight controls) is a waste of time
