Nice jeans on Fridays are ok. If it's good enough for leadership, it's certainly ok for the employee. I stress the word 'nice', as in no holes.

I wore flip flops on "casual Friday" with nice jeans and a nice t shirt. That was also the end of 2011 and there were 6 total in my class. you may not get the same result I did. Probably wouldn't recommend it these days. The ground instructor said "don't wear anything that you would be embarrassed to be seen in"....We all joked about mesh tank tops.

Jeans are perfectly fine. Jeans are permitted in the yellow handbook and worn everyday by our COO. If he can make 7 figures and wear jeans and an untucked polo everyday, a new hire making $1000 a month can too.

Same goes for PCs and PTs. Most Florida guys rock their Columbia fish shirts.

The COO can probably get away with a lot of things that a new hire FO can’t. But, to each their own!

agreed. Business casual. COO has the pleasure of making the big bucks and his own rules. New hire, not so much. Be a professional and dress accordingly.

Spirit is a multi million dollar career, if they wanted me to wear clown pants to training I'd do it.
