Which do you think is going to help you more long term? Yes memorizing the order of button to press will get you through the first few weeks, but reading the expanded flow and understanding why you push that button and what you are looking for is going to help you pass the oral.

Know your flows means know where you go in each phase of flight. The flow guide is your key. Know it at the bare minimum. You do not need to know callouts, limitations or anything else. Of course if you have time to study that ahead, then that will help you keep your head above water with the manic pace of class.
Learn the flows. Learn the expanded flow later, then do limitations and oral study guide. There's some REALLY good Brainscape and other flash cards out on the web that are correct and well maintained.
Good luck

I came in know flows for both seats plus limitations. It’s makes a world of difference while in training! I got the Flow Guide down cold then moved into the expanded stuff for the flow. If you can, come in knowing the expanded stuff and the limitations. Everything else works itself out.

I would suggest spending most of your time initially studying flows, studying the triggers to start the flow, and studying the callouts for pushback, takeoff, ILS CAT 1, and Landing (found in your AOM 2 normal procedures as you go through each phase) These will be your fundamentals throughout the whole training starting week 2.
Flows and callouts are the things you cannot learn over night unfortunately compared to the memory items, limitations, and proficiency items. I learned that the hard way by studying the limitations first and didnt have flows down until midway through 2nd week. I did not feel prepared initially and that feeling sucked.
For limitations, memory items and proficiency items my class used this quizlet: https://quizlet.com/24640091/spirit-...3-flash-cards/
The creator is pretty good with keeping them up to date with changes. But always verify these flash cards with Spirit manuals first. Same goes with the super card I am sure you may have received by a friend.
Good luck to ya!

About 3-4 weeks on average, there were some issues with background check delays leading to some having to wait months but that's mostly clearing now. They give a refresher LOFT type sim if no OE after 21 days.
