For flows it was setting up the paper tiger in my house and playing a game of Simon says the 80s electronic version. Start at step one, memorize the next step. Once have have those two down add one more. And so on until you have the complete flow. It does take time and practice.

For me, It helps to say the both the question and answer out loud. It’s not a written test, on the oral (and on subsequent PC/AQP checks) the memory items and limitations are asked verbally.
Hearing the question out loud and speaking the answer engages different parts of your brain than visually associating certain words with certain numbers, which is why I think some people get tripped up despite actually studying.
So each morning during training while getting ready and each night after I finished studying I would talk out loud the memory items and limitations until they flowed out like my home address and telephone number.

Don’t let some of these guys stress you out. It’s best to have the flows (just know where your hands go), limitations, and memory items down when you show up. If you don’t have it perfect you won’t be sent home. If you can know more like knowing what to do once your hands reach each stop in the flow then that’s even better. Just do the best you can. There isn’t time to teach the actual flows so not knowing them ahead will add one more thing to your plate. Don’t sweat it all. The fact you are even asking means you’ll probably be fine.

Flows, limitations and memory items. The only “test” you will have on them are three multiple choice tests that are graded to 100% and filed away.
You will have time to learn the more in depth stuff so don’t feel like you have to show up on day one ready to pass the oral.
Also, 10000% agree with one step prep. They make it easy.

That’s a bit disingenuous. Literally the first questions you will be asked on the oral is every single memory item and limitation. It’s common knowledge that those who flub on these make up most of the small percentage of people who don’t pass the first time.
