Even on the systems it’s not like super in depth. Plus they give you a master question file and a mock oral video that’s super in depth. The oral will be the overhead panel then work down to glareshield panel like stick priority and then some lower panel stuff. Basically every button and switch and you give them a very brief answer. Of course you know that dance.. if you struggle they will potentially dig deeper. Just looking for a working knowledge. They know you’re probably new to the Airbus and love to teach you something. Then they go over the Airbus Laws and alpha protections. 1stepprep is good. I’d watch that every night before bed and hit all the memory items and limitations and was solid. Honestly the most difficult thing is flows and callouts mixing one airline procedure with another and just ram dumping all that out. DM me for any in depth questions I’m happy to help.

It’s not tough. If you put in the effort, you’ll be fine. The pass rate is in the 90s. Having those down cold will eliminate all of your stress.

If you come with that, you are basically done, at least for the ground portion of training. Everything else is death by powerpoint and some multiple choice tests that dont actually get graded, they are corrected to 100%. I wish I had taken that advice more to heart before coming here. The training is condensed, be ahead of it.

Hey Everyone,
I'm starting at Spirit in a couple months and was considering bringing my car down to FL in order to have more access around the area. I don't live in FL so it would be a lengthy drive but shorter than what I've done before. I'm just wondering if some people have driven their car down for training and would people recommend it? What hotel does Spirit put new-hires up at and would you have to pay to park your car?
Thanks in advance to those who respond!

3 people in my class brought their cars including me. Makes all the difference in the world by not being dependent on the hotel shuttle, and being able to go supply shopping, to wash your clothes or just get away for a bit without begging a ride from others or doing a ride share. Highly recommend it.

It's worth it if your drive is less than 8 hours. More than 8 hours then you are taking a pretty long drive 4 times for a minor luxury. Don't forget you are only there for two weeks, back home for one, then back for 4 - 5 weeks.
