I hope the frontier pilots didn’t use max reverse thrust on this landing...I would hate for the passenger to have any discomfort from the extra engine noise.
Oof, glad it ended okay at least.

Hi Spirit friends,

Hope everyone’s doing well. Could anyone kindly chime in & let me know how much income I can plan for the first year as an F/O & how long on an average would it take me to make at least $150k per year. Thank you in advance.

Pay rates are published. Plan on min guarantee and do the math.

I appreciate the reply and I am aware of the pay published on APC. Reason for my question was only to see if I can make a bit more than guarantee & be able to pick up more flying for the first year. But yes I’ll plan for my min guarantee that’s published. Thank you.

It all depends where you will be base, and are you commuting or living in base. Also how often will you get or accept an X list trip for 200% pay.

since no one is giving you a strait answer… possible on 2nd year pay if you work really hard. Easier on 3rd year pay with a little extra effort. Doable on 4th year pay with minimal extra flying above your line

Year 2 pay is 110.81...112.8 hours per month required
Year 3 pay is 119.03...105.01 hours
Year 4 pay is 125.78... that's still over 99 hours of credit a month needed (looks like it's more than just minimal extra flying above your line)

Like others said, you can work really hard to try and hit 150k as an FO, but X list is never anything to count on, and the only other way to really guarantee that paycheck is to fly close to max block each month. At that point whatever QOL reason you came to Spirit for doesn't exist.

Exactly. New hires are reserve. That’s 72 hours. Can’t pick up open time. You can hope for an X list but you can hope in one hand and…you know the rest.

that’s only like picking up an extra 2 or 3 day a month.
