gonna throw a tip out there, cuz a bunch of guys need to read this. Ya gotta wait until the fadecs calculate the cooling time before pushing the darn button. A flow doesnt have to be hurry up and push stuff. Wait a sec and read the upper. If after 5 or 10 seconds or so after turning the mode selector there is no time or only time on the #1, no need for dual cooling. Enough with the ding stuff.

Pretty sure the dual cooling time will be displayed when you power up the Fadec’s on the overhead to do the preliminary preflight. That being your first indication that dual cooling will be a thing on start up.
That may be wrong, but that seems right.

Duel cooling is for letting both engines motor simultaneously for preventing bowed rotor shiit yeah? Anyways press the button, wait for the shiit to display, thingy does the stuff, the end.

I just keep the dual cooling AOM page tabbed and read it every time I see the spinnybois pulling up
It reads something like “it’s gonna say ‘cooling’ but don’t hit the button until it says ‘cooling’” or something surprisingly hard to remember
