The current commuter clause is one flight on any airline. I’d guess either DFW or ORD would work well enough. DFW remains very senior compared to DTW/MCO/FLL and ORD slightly less so. I don’t think DFW availability will occur in any system bid in the near future. I think the commuter hotel situation IVO ORD is better, too, with rooms at about 60 bucks a night, and crashpads in the 250s with public transport.

The reality is that flight connectivity still hasn’t really bounced back to anything approximate to NOV2019.
Many major city pairs are still three flights/day.
The company might think “too bad, so sad” until the hidden costs of that becomes more apparent.
