Well, they have to have the displacement bid by the end of the month. So, a lot to get done in the last 15 days of the month.
But, I think the union did a great job of getting this together. We’ll see how it plays out, but it’s on the pilots at this point.

yes which I think is a shame. I know the company is probably scared of paying displacement moving costs but they are going to anyway with displacements from furloughs.
going to be sad if people that wanted to take EIL’s couldn’t get them and people are furloughed because of it.

I agree I’m not sure why they are doing it by base seniority when they will still have to run a displacement bid anyway. Should have done eil by master seniority list.

Because if they know how many pilots then need in each base / seat and get that many EIL's awarded in each base / seat there's no displacement bid.

except when say one base runs out of EIL’s to bid for and another base has EIL’s go unfilled and X amount of pilots are on the street because of it.
