School isn’t happening this fall either no matter how much it probably needs to so that impediment to travel will be lifted.

I would bet late September to October starts looking more like July, and people go ahead and travel relatively hard again for Turkey Day/ Christmas. And then we’ll probably see another increase in infections and so forth.

More therapeutics and a vaccine would do wonders right about now.

Just me spitballing.
Goal posts moved again, surprising I know ....

No vaccine to prevent the flu, the cold, HIV or the Chicken Pox. Now we hear that a vaccine will not end Covid from the esteemed Dr. Fauci and the void of credibility CDC. Que Gomer Pyle, "surprise, surprise, surprise"!!!

I'm starting to get a feel for those on this board that hate the results of 2016 so much that they hope for more Covid deaths every day.

Encouraging that we were near “break even” in June.

Except for the 50 million, and the fact that the cares act covers a majority of payroll.....

The whole industry is in trouble. This is just the beginning if capacity doesn’t return. So it doesn’t matter where you are sitting.

Ha hey i lost my job and cant pay my bills, but at least orange man is gone. Gtfoh with that tin foil hat stuff. There's what you want to be true, and then there's reality. Come back to it.

I don’t know, I think he might be on to something. You don’t think there is a direct correlation at the national level with having a lockdown, mandating masks and seeing people fined or arrested for disobeying those orders by governors yet there is a whole set of different rules if you are out doing the BLM thing, “peacefully” demonstrating, destroying and defacing property, no mask or social distancing required because it fits the narrative of the blue states?

People keep lumping HIV into the no cure bucket, but it is largely treatable these days.

Regardless, we don’t need a silver bullet. Just therapeutics etc. that whittle this thing down to nuisance levels.

No. There is no different set of rules. The rules are the same for everyone in every situation. The difference is those who follow the rules and those who do not. I dont see a political line there, as you yourself detailed that both leftys and rightys arent playing by the rules. You do know plenty of rioters have been arrested. Protesters can protest, but those caught vandalizing or worse were absolutely arrested when able. That said, the police knew they were outnumbered and played the situation correct. Why send people into a situation that was not going to be controlled and could potentially result in the injury or death of an officer? Enforcing mask mandates is not as inherently dangerous as a large crowd with weapons. Also, i have not yet heard of any anti-maskers being swept off the streets by secret police into unmarked vehicles.

“There is no different set of rules. The rules are the same for everyone in every situation. The difference is those who follow the rules and those who do not.“

That’s naive. Who do you think isn’t following the rules? The majority of the violence and not obeying rules is from the left. Governors and mayors of blue states ordering police to not arrest. Big difference than someone refusing to wear a mask.
People’s livelihoods and life savings are being destroyed because they can’t operate their business in a major city with their windows being smashed and place looted.
