Have you been talking to my parents...... Cuz I heard a suspiciously similar story when I was a kid...

I’m guessing the micron level protection of your old sheets, underwear or bra are about as effective as a condom that is expired and has a .40 caliber hole in it. There is no more common sense and people can’t or are not allowed to decide what is best for them. It’s just asinine.

How dare you perform your own analysis, compare cost/ benefit, and make the best decision for you and yours.

Your overlords require compliance. You're free to have your own opinion, as long as it agrees with edict.

How dare you allow somebody to have their own opinion. I for one, check Facebook and cable news in the morning to see what I should be thinking each day. I find that causes much less anxiety on my part and I'm able to function in society a little easier. Those days I think for myself result in nothing but gray hair and a devastated liver

Also fume events are not a real thing and it’s safe to run the packs off a pneumatic start cart.

CDC guidance on surfaces didn’t really change- used to be “not as likely,” then more recently “less likely...” A tiny language change that doesn’t really amount to much.

As for the mask guidance- if the idea were to protect the wearer, I’d agree. That’s not the case. The virus lives in respiratory droplets- and just about any kind of face covering can limit the travel of your spit....

The mask guidance is trash. I find duct tape to be 100% effective...it saves lives and has the added benefit of not having to listen to annoying people.

Certainly there is lots left to interpretation. I think the science is pretty much saying that unless it’s an N95 mask that is properly fitted, wearing cloth masks provides very little protection for anyone.

All surgeries should be done without surgical masks, since it doesn’t do anything.

Except for the hospital grade, operating room hepa filter systems that are in place to protect from viruses while operating. Any other bright ideas?

There is substantial evidence that wearing cloth masks will slow the spread, as it prevents people from getting yours, or you getting it from others.

We are seeing a rapid increase in cases in non mask wearing states.

If you're selfish enough to be the a part of reason for another lock down, by deciding that a mask is some form of oppression, not required "BECAUSE IT DOESN'T PROTECT ME!" Then I got nothing. You'll be the reason that we all get furloughed.
