By summer we should know a lot more. Resignations have increased from the email in November through January, but it’s not really enough of a data set for a definitive conclusion.
Either A.) we’ve had a glut of pilots leave, but those who wanted to leave left and those who want to stay stayed. We absorb this, hiring continues and upgrades resume.
Or B.) The trend continues or increases. Planes get parked, captains are downgraded, growth comes to a screeching halt. Basically all the worst parts of the Bible.

You have been here a long long time and still, complain complain complain.
So which is it for why you haven't left? DUI? Busted rides? Alimony? Golden handcuffs? Because someone as angry as you appear to be would have left a while ago unless you are either unhirable or this is your schtick. Honest question, you have been here a long time, why are you still here and after all these years decide now "Time to vent my rage on a forum"

It’s the one question none of the detractors will answer honestly.
We are all in agreement we seek substantial improvements in the coming contract negotiations, but Clarence here has stated in no uncertain terms NK has neither the money nor the inclination to improve. In his opinion it’s an irredeemable airline on a collision course with failure…
And yet we are currently in the most upward and lateral hiring climate in decades. No one has to be anywhere they don’t want to be. If you’ve been here long enough to have been furloughed, you can even take the vesting with you.
I am here because I like my job and want to see it get even better.
Why are you still here Clarence?

So much BS, if you were here 10 years ago, you won't leave.

How’s the layout of trips at Spirit looking? I know a few months back Frontier has unfortunately moved the way of more day trips. I don’t mind picking up some day trips, but with commuting it’s not the most convenient.
Thanks for the help.

One of the outliers is FLL. They have the most 1-2 day trips. They also still have tons of 3-4 days as well, but given the flying out of FLL to South America and Caribbean, a lot of those are day trip turns. Sometimes if it’s Deep South (for us) like Peru or Ecuador, those will be 2 day trips due to the length and flight times.
