Is the company still planning on hiring 900 for 2022? Realistically, if one were to be hired today could they expect to upgrade within 5 years, or is that only if the company grows beyond the 300 TT airplane count? Has there be any internal talk on how contract negotiations may go once it begins to open up?

Yes but if you stay senior on reserve instead of bidding up to a line you will get the days you want and there is reasonable expectation you will get the RAP you want unless you get unstacked which has only happened to me once since we went to PBS

yeah Covid has that pretty skewed. No hiring for a year means that one upgrade class will have a may 2020 hire in it as well as a March 2021 hire…. So upgrade times will “shrink” on paper

I’m the third most senior on short call and got the RAP I wanted the least. And only one of the two above me got a RAP I wanted. We have a system that violates seniority.

The system will always try and get the days off you requested first, then takes into consideration what RAP preferences you wanted.
