As stated, no upgrade without more planes based delivered beyond 230, or mass FO exodus, or a thousand CAs taking medical leave. I feel confident we will have more planes beyond 230 and FOs leaving but how many? Fact is one day Spirit will hire its last CA for a while, we just dont have the retirements.

Book says only with express permission of chief pilot, which usually means unless it’s something unique like ferrying a B-29 the answer is most likely “no”
