This is the pros. Stop playing minor league ball.

This is so true. I love our relaxed culture but Dude you make $200K+ a year, working not very hard, and you can’t be bothered to shave or pull your tie up to your neck? Makes me shake my head. Same guys that will sit on the tarmac for 40 minutes and not say a word to the passengers about what’s going on, or blast through easily avoidable overhang.

Separately, I can’t believe that there are morons out there that wouldn’t wear a suit to an interview function (including logbook review) for a multi-million dollar white collar career, or even question it

Sort of irrelevant at present.

On the other hand, wouldn’t cost management a heck of a lot right now either…

Anyone seen this? Is this ALPA approved? I'm guessing it is since it's got "ALPA" on it.

I don’t think so but doesn’t really matter if it becomes a government mandate.

You mean where it is addressed to ALPA? As in the first line that reads “TO: Spirit Airlines ALPA representation.”?

No; I don’t think this is an official ALPA petition.

different ball game.

we won’t be hiring CFI’s in a year, either. Crazy that some of you guys think so low of this place, kinda sad
You probably weren’t around about 13years ago when we hired not just CFI’s… but 250 hour Comm/Multi pilots. Not because of a pilot shortage, but so the VP of Ops at the time could get his name on the side of a library or building over at Riddle.

Different regime, but never say never.
