Question: Does an application ever go from under review to any other status. Specifically, if its been rejected for any reason.[/QUOTE]

That's what I've been wondering too. Did anyone get a call or TBNT e-mail?

Have been wondering myself and waiting to hear something. Anyone from the 25th interview hear anything?

The bid isn’t final yet. However for those wondering what bases are junior. All the July new hires will start in either DTW, FLL, or ACY. All the ACY slots are going to the last class to start in July. However I’d say going forward you’ll probably be able to get into which ever base you want in 6 months or less.

I finally received a TBNT from an app started late last year (I think), but it still said "Under review" on the website.

I was also able to submit a new application and retake the Gallup, which was unexpected since it has been well under a year since I took it.

Spirit IT 'workarounds'. Get used to it.

I had heard in the past, that if you haven’t heard anything 3 months after you apply, that you should reapply. Is that still the case?

4600 TT
2850 PIC
3650 Turbine
2000 TPIC

And I have 2 pilots submitting my resume and cover letter through the referral system, and haven’t heard anything.

I was unable to attend the recent MTC but I’m hoping they have another soon.

I know we just turned down a guy with twice your time and five times the number of internal references. Who knows WTF we're looking for.

Not to be discouraging but we don't have a clue as to what they're hiring either.

It does seem quite random. All I can do is keep an updated application and resume in, and wait for an email. Im really hoping to get to a MTC event to possibly help my odds. Another guy I fly with currently starts training next week, so after he’s done with IOE, I’ll have 3 people submitting my referral, 2 of which were hired off of the account I fly for now, and the other used to be my chief pilot. I know they say a degree isn’t required, but not having one, combined with no 121 time, isn’t doing me any favors. If I could only convey to the powers that be all the preparation I’ve done in order to withstand the extremely significant pay cut I’d receive, before I even applied, they know how serious I am about wanting on. Lol....oh well. I’ve only been trying a year and half, so for now I’ll just continue being patient.

The only sure fire way to get an interview is to go to a MTC or job fair. If they like you there, you’ll immediately get an interview spot.

I’m sure there are a lot of high time applicants, sometimes it’s just about luck.

I sure hope to get into one. I don't consider myself high time, by any means. I was hoping my PIC time would help prop up my total time, but with it all being 91 and 135, I'm not sure if they'll look at me. Time will tell, I suppose.
