They keep all the resumes and said that showing up to events like this is a great way to get the call if you’re competitive.
AVG hire time is 5500 total according to the presentation and they are serious about the 3000TT+. Doesn’t seem like much vetting was done in regards to who got the invite.
All in all, worthwhile experience. Got a great vibe from the Chief’s and ALPA reps that showed up. Don’t think I will get a call but hopefully this will mean something sometime down the road.

2 hour block, 45 minute company presentation, 15-30 minute Q&A, whatever time is left is scramble time to shake a hand and drop off a resume. If they like what they see on your paper it’s a conversation - if not it’s a quick thanks see you later. Expect some nonchalant conversation, not TMAAT or technical questions.

So is there any need to bring logbooks?

So here was my take on the Meet the Chiefs:
I went to the meet in LAX and had the first session, which was 10am. There was 20 pilots that attended and 3 chiefs. I have a corporate part 91 background and although there was one other corporate guy there, the remaining attendees were skywest pilots mixed in with 2-3 Mesa guys. They started the presentation by flat out stating that this is not an interview, nor are we being evaluated in any way. We went around the room and introduced ourselves along with a general description of our background. The chiefs then went right into about an hour company presentation followed by Q & A. It was very informal and even the chiefs were cracking a few jokes. Although most of everyone showed up in a suit and tie, I'm not sure it was necessary. Even the chiefs were wearing nothing more than casual. After the Q & A session, they told us that this is our time to meet with them one on one and hand them a resumè. I was able to talk with all 3 chiefs for about 5-10 minutes a piece. They asked very basic background questions , i.e failed checkrides, will anything pop up on a background check? Kind of thing. They said that formal interviews will pick back up in about a month and that class dates are full through February. They said that Spirit is no longer doing job fairs and that this will become the normal first step in getting that interview. I brought my log book along with a list of references and letters of recommendation. They told the group, that today they will only be accepting the resumè and to hold anything and everything else for the actual interview. I've been reading these gouges like it's my job the last month or so, so I hope this information is able to help someone else out.

I'd say that TDWilliams is spot on. Very casual, Chiefs told us we can lose the jackets and ties, but obviously no one did. They did a very good job of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. At the end of the presentation and the Q&A, the actual meet and greet began. As TD mentioned above, they aren't evaluation officially, but this was certainly your time to shine and make an impression. They did highlight that this event certainly counts as credit for applicants, and IMO, and what I took away from what the CPs said, this puts MTC attendees in the front of the line for evaluation before new invites to interviews are determined.
Few interview style questions were asked in meet and greet portion, "Why Spirit?" "Tell me about failures." "Tell me a little bit about yourself" (etc). They have to move quick through the attendees as their time is limited. So I would recommend having your bullet points laid out on selling yourself.
Good luck, everyone.

It was good to chat with you yesterday. I'm the other corporate guy you just mentioned.

It was great chatting with you as well!
Hopefully we will have the opportunity to see each other around maybe?
