Actually, I am not a regional pilot anymore. I paid my dues and moved up. If you don't believe me then fine. Third Spirit posts meet and greet on their Facebook pilot recruitment page. If you don't want my help then fine, just trying to help another pilot out.
You have zero idea of what paying dues is my little entitled millennial friend. Let me get this straight, you were on here maybe 2-3yrs ago talking about getting your multi-engine and then how you were flight instructing. Then got hired at a regional and a year later you are at Alaska. Ok, if you say so. Question is, why are you always slagging around in the Spirit threads? |

Here is your post from 2013. “Thanks for your time and your advice I really appreciate it. I graduated with my masters degree back in June and decided to move to San Diego to peruse a flight instructing job. Since then I have logged 1,050 tt and only 20 hours of multi. I'm paying my college loans, so perusing my MEI is a little tough. Also someone told me to split cost with another student, but I don't feel like dropping $8,000 to get the magic 100 of multi that airlines want. I've always wanted to fly for an airline, but I got some financing that is working against me. Any career advice that will help me be more competitive?” |

So you're calling me liar because you don't know the difference between a CMEL and a MEI?
My point is my little millennial friend is that all through our contract negotiations here at NK, you got on here and trash talked our airline and pilot group. You say things in past posts that seem to contradict your story. |

No, perfectly clear on that. So you got your multi in 2008 and 5 yrs later in 2013, you only had 20 hrs? The point is that your time line is way off and by “paying your dues” does that include your mom and dad “investing” in your ratings?

Those who came before and held the line for massively improved contracts completely changed my family's life. Kudos and respect. But it does seem a bit odd that people hold the gains they fought hard for as a point against those who are enjoying them... |

"My little millennial friend." Well, well, seems someone is a bit bitter about future generations not having it as hard as they did....

Meet The Chiefs
Just got the invite to a casual meet the chiefs and pilot recruiting next week in DFW. Can anyone tell me what to expect? How it’s different from the normal interviews in FLL etc... I appreciate any info.

I too just got the invite to the meet and greet in Dallas next Tuesday. I filled out the app last weekend and got an email today from pilot recruiting. My question is: is this different from the meet the chiefs that are advertised on LinkedIn or is this an invite only or are they always invite only? I didn’t see this one advertised on LinkedIn or Facebook. I’m looking at close to $800 round trip to get there on short notice (not currently working at a CASS participant) and possibly calling in sick, probably just gonna make it happen unless someone thinks waiting for the next one isn’t a bad idea.
