This TA really is RELIEF from Sect 25.
They need and WANT this to PASS, are we just going to "gift it" like the June relief and LMS LOA?

I'm tired of all the whining.
"What's gonna happen if we don't pass it?"
We should be asking what will happen in 5-7 years when we have nothing else to give!
"Bendo over" again?

Roadshows seem to be going pretty well judging from the feedback on WhatsApp and such. You are losing your grip on the spin...

Whats going to happen when more people realize this isnt the scary boogie man that you have painted it to be?

Out of touch ^^^
What will we have left to negotiate with in 5-7 years?
Can you answer that?
These rules, if they pass will haunt us for our entire careers at NK.

But this contract will pass. Thats the thing. This contract isnt perfect, but it isnt near bad enough to get a no vote from the majority of pilot, no less the massive voting down of the TA to achieve the mandate you want.

You are up against a dozen road shows, maybe more, conference calls, email blasts, etc. And you are countering with fear and "BendOver" jokes. Education of the group is happening and facts are being set straight. Im sure you can see that one you pop your head out from the forums and realize that No voters are turning to Yes voters with every slide the NC does on a road show.

Nobody knows what we have to negotiate with in 5-7 years, the economy, company strength, or whether we are even Spirit Airlines as we know it. But I know its a lot easier to sit back and relax when your pilot group is making a livable wage, retirement, LTD, and vastly improved scope. Versus sailing out into the unknown with this contract being voted down and depending on the generosity of an NMB that already iced us once, and we are limited in our actions because of the TRO that still hangs over us.

This contract is coming. Only question really is how much it will pass and how may bag tags guys will buy to say they voted "no".

So I dont think im the one who is out of touch, I realize the reality of this and decided to not pis$ into the wind on this one.

If we don’t get section1 locked down while we have section 25 to hold over them we will never have the leverage to get section one solid and it will come home to roost one day

Try not.
Do, or do not.
There is no try.
