Everything is "quick facts" "highlights" "Pros and.... no cons" (lol, ok that last one was made up). But everything on that site is dedicated to possible gains, with nothing about the negatives. Unless you read the TA, the site is all gains and positives...far from true. They are REALLY trying to sell this as a great deal, what we deserve, and all we can get.
Try reading the actual document. I’m with you on the no vote but don’t spew inaccuracies you make us no voters look ignorant. The LTD in the TA is a good deal. You’ve obviously never actually tried to shop around for a policy on your own. The posting above about United was fact and they do pay premiums on that money as well. Delta does contribute to your 401k while on LTD which I think is industry leading.

You can buy up now to whatever you want outside the company. this is a turd, vote no
The buy-up will cost around $90 a month for the full $15k. ($10k buy up from company benefit of $5k)

Only JetBlue has a $15k plan, everyone else is lower.

Because you “bought up” that additional $10k- that portion is tax-free. The company paid benefit is not.

Any chance your NC figured that out and chose to negotiate a buy-up instead of a company paid benefit so they could use that money elsewhere in the deal?

And they can make you wait an hour while the figure it all out for no extra pay.
Thank you for setting the facts out there. Those of us that have spent some time on reserve either by choice or not know this paragraph. I’ve never had it used but it doesn’t mean they won’t.

If you’re gonna vote no (I am) actually know the current contract and the TA besides bullet points

Yes being off reserve is a perk of being more senior, but why voluntarily give up flexibility? I hope that ladder you’re pulling up behind you isn’t heavy.

Senior pilots sending their young to be eaten by the wolves in a time of max profits and airline success, how cliche. Delta reserve includes lcr, limited scr, and pays alv (average line value), making reserve quite bearable, and even goes fairly far up the list. Make your airline a place for all professional pilots to come enjoy quality of life opportunities, they deserve it if they’ve made it this far. Good luck to you guys, unless you’re sacrificing your young, then MGHPOYS.

May be the dumbest comeback post after being proven wrong. Do your research on what a drone would be used for and its capabilities. So back to the fact that in the proposal the LTD is very subpar. Stay on topic bud.

Great educational post dogpilot! FDX also has LCR, limited A and B period SCR and average line gurantee for Reserve. It also goes fairly senior especially LCR and some B period (PM) reserve. We dont use reserves much so if you live in base it can be very lucrative if you dont get used and fly a bit on your days off. We also have the ability to drop or trade R days fairly easily. What would be prudent of any Spirit pilot is to truely educate yourself on what “others” have and then make a decision on if its a yeh or neh

What base are you at?
I rarely drop and get used every block.
Do not work on my days off.
Most of the grid is RED.
Will NOT be able to drop at ALL if this TA passes. (PBS LOA)
