Questions for everyone:
With this new TA being voted on, is it possible for TSH (Trans State Holding- Parent company of TSA, Compass, GoJet) to sell GoJet to Spirit Airlines, and you guys then have a WO regional carrier with which you already have a flow-like/guaranteed interview or No-Interview agreement with already????
Or maybe TSH (parent company) can just transfer it’s large MRJ aircraft order to GoJet as part of a deal with Spirit Mgmt, (since the TSH orders can’t be operated for the Big 3 due to scope restriction, also SKYWEST has a large orders of the MRJ which also under current scope restrictions is to heavy to operate for the Big 3. From research they both TSH and Skywest are betting on scope relief from Big 3 pilot groups or “others”).
I’m just thinking outside the box here. How possible is all of this If you guys/gals pass this TA? Does the TA offer little scope protection & leave room for a FFD operation at Spirit Airlines?
Thanks, legitimate question here not trolling or trying to win the Internet. Interested in your educated thoughts.

TSH can send it’s large MRJ aircraft order to GoJet (which since it can’t be operated for the Big 3 due to scope restriction, SKYWEST also has a large order of the MRJ which which is to large to operate for the Big 3, and are hoping for scope relief passage). There is also a weight limit. 86000lbs I think. That might not be right but it’s close to that number. I just know that whatever the number the mrj is above it. They could get 50’s. Doesn’t really make a lot of sense with a point to point airline where you want to pack in as many seats as possible. Those 50 seaters are pretty uneconomical to operate.

How in all things holy do you of all people not know what’s in the scope section. There is a weight limit. The mrj is above that weight. Also very well explained by Art at the roadshow I saw.
Also not starting crap. Just being sarcastic.

From the q&a
Finally, Spirit could acquire a regional carrier that used Mitsubishi aircraft. However, the Mitsubishi (at 88,000 pounds) is above the weight limits for regional aircraft as defined in Section 1.BL of the TA and, therefore, any growth in flying performed by a carrier using the Mitsubishi would have to be accompanied by comparable growth in Spirit flying.
