Its not what is not in there its what is there. Section 1 E 4. The company can outsource flying to a company that flies only regional aircraft without compling with the 5 percent rule. Additionally, they can also outsource to a foriegn carrier. So all of our international flying goes to Franks operation down south and 20 and some of the domestic stufff goes to MESA. Upgrades slow, movement slows and your schedule goes to 72 hours.

I would suggest you actually go read section 1. As well as the scope FAQ’s.

I’ve read through the TA numerous times now. At first I thought it was horrendous, my mind is slowly changing. Most of the rescheduling language is in the current CBA, yes I know scheduling integrity is gone, but it cost the company money to reschedule us. I believe the rescheduled into a day off or two days off actually protects us. Remember when Harvey hit Houston and dozens were stuck there for days? If we had that language now, they would’ve made thousands of extra dollars.

I still hate the no reserve drops and don’t think there’s a good excuse to do away with them completely, but that’s one small piece to the puzzle.

Our company has a ton of money in the bank, do you think they would worry about spending a little money to reschedule you when they will easily make that back plus some? My wife works for a different airline where they routinely reroute them. And yes for the me the not dropping reserve days is an absolute no, I have to have that flexibility with my wife's schedule

I totally understand and can’t fault you for that. Does she work for a legacy? The no reserve drops wouldn’t be so bad if they gave reserve extra days off and ALV. I’m the sole earner in my house with two kids and I bid reserve to be home more, that’ll definitely change.
