I get the feeling that solid no voters are unmarried also.

Mine won’t even let me read it. She will comment about it sometimes and ask me questions when something doesn’t make sense. Right now she says a lot because of the TA. All but one is saying yes. Hundreds. And the no vote is like most on here, nothing would ever be good enough.

I’m married and my husband said Hell No after only reading section 1. (He is a lawyer and he said that we might as well not even have scope.)

So you are ok with current scope?

Obviously I can't speak for all those on APC, but based on personal interaction with 30-40 of my closest friends (50% of whom were pretty sure they'd vote yes, me included) ,90% of which are married, the NO votes are flying off the shelf after the few sections that were most important and relevant to them were reviewed.

While the above means nothing here, if this thing fails by a thin margin, we lose, and we lose BIG!

Of course our new hires won't really notice whether it fails or passes. Either way, they get crap.

I will say that a thought that I had was they were telling their significant others they were voting yes even though they aren’t. My wife will absolutely think I’m voting yes no matter what. I like getting laid every now and then.

It would seem you are referring to 2.BE., the definition of circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

Read a little closer. The language refers to picketing *OF* the Company’s premises, not picketing *ON* Company property.

Nobody pickets ON Company property, they walk on public property or a public right of way. If you picket ON private property without permission, it’s trespassing and you can be removed.

The way the definition is written, your cabin cleaners can stage a lawful picket OF Company premises and your force majeur clause will be triggered.

I understand you’re doing your best to be pedantic, but read closely or your comments will be viewed for what they are!

Any wife whose husband actually explained the contract and kept them abreast of the industry would be a solid NO vote... unless of course, they didn’t want their husbands around as much. I’ve never posted on APC, but have been a member for years. I’m so disgusted at this TA, I had to say something. I was 60/40 yes vote, but after this I’m 100% NO with the wife being 110% NO.

You must not be an FO. It is impossible to do anything to our schedules can’t drop, can’t swap, the entire grid is red. But hey we’re fully staffed for sure!!!
