My class date is next month and I'm currently going through all of the CBT courses they send out on the Spirit LMS (SumTotal) website. How accurate is all of the information?
I've been told from pilots going through 1-2 years ago that the info they got was not at all accurate as to what was covered in their class. (granted this must have been before Spirit sent out these CBT courses)
Just want to make sure I'm not over studying; obviously flows, memory items and limitations need to be memorized prior to day 1.

Any CBT you do on Sum Total won't be credited towards your CBTs in class. They are different CBTs, done on the Ipad with a different software.

Yeah, I agree, don’t study systems until they send you home on week three. Just study flows, limitations and memory items till then.

There are about 35 modules/documents in there already. I'll get the important stuff memorized for sure.
Any tips or things you'd do differently prior to starting class?

1. Flows
2. Flows
3. Flows
4. Limitations/memory items
In that order. The ones who struggle the most don’t have a good grip on the flows. Don’t worry there are no tests during Indoc. So while you should have 80-100% of memory items and limitations down day 1, don’t sweat it if you are still fine tuning it. Those are important for the oral. Flows will determine how well you progress. If you want to go above and beyond and have a good feel for the flows, start reading AOM 2 and understanding what you are doing when you are performing the flows. For the first 2 weeks or so it’s just muscle memory. So really don’t stress it.
If you have flows, memory items, limitations down day 1, don’t really have any advice. You already well ahead of the game. Then when it comes to systems and you start connecting the dots, it really clicks.
