Less pay more go!
I guess they were right. Less pay (for the Pilots) more go! High fives alll around....That new contract is on its way.
‘The good news keeps on rolling at Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ:SAVE). South Florida’s Hometown Airline is celebrating a second month of record-breaking performance with 90.4% of all network flights arriving on-time in the month of November. The airline has improved by 4% in system-wide on-time performance year over year.’

Remember this was a pilot group that was sued in federal court because of what was perceived to be a job action.
Who joins a forum under that name and then posts as if he was that person? Do you find humor in that or are you just someone who laughs at their own jokes?

Yes it’s obvious that it’s the padding of block times that is improving our A14 and not the Happy enthusiastic and loyal pilots that are making “more go” happen. The thing that surprises me is the company is willing to eat the increase in crew pay and other expenses that is being added system wide every day,... A significant amount of dough and an unnecessary added cost. I guess they are willing to do ANYTHING to improve the image of this Clown show. Kinda like putting a dress on a pig.

I agree with unsubscribe and macjet. ALPA has done a good job of rallying the pilots to maintain the status quo and to help the company get back on track after the meltdown in May. The pilots have done a great job improving the on time performance of Spirit Airlines and the mediators and management should take notice and reward us accordingly in the upcoming negotiations. Our professionalism and integrity show that we are deserving of the industry standard compensation and benefits package we are asking for and that it is time for the company to recognize our participation in the success of the operation by wrapping up this contract and letting us get back to what we do best. As far as I am concerned the block times have not been padded they have just been adjusted to what they should have been all along, industry standard.

You could be correct about the padding of time, it makes sense to increase the margins when the airline use to run late a majority of the time. Once an aircraft pushed late then it was late all day, their was no way to ever catch up. NMB doesn't have the ability to "force" Spirit to complete the contract. Spirit has no reason to come to the table and complete the deal. Spirit has never run so well, I'm sure their thinking they should cut out pay.
