Default Bags while jumpseating

I am planning on jumpseating on Spirit in a couple of weeks and was wondering if it's true that I'm allowed only one carry-on bag and one "checked" bag (under 40 lbs.)?

I think so but I have taken a snowboard with no problem: However, I was in uniform and do work for Spirit and I didnt have another checked bag. IMO our ticket agents typically turn over a lot and have very little experience in the industry so the uniform still gets some respect and they are hesitant to charge you if you are over the allowance. Why so much stuff as a jumoseater anyway?

One carry on, one small personal item, and one checked bag (supposed to be under 40lbs, but I can't imagine anyone would stick to that). It's the same as any non-rev.

You need more?

When you do your listing on spirit.com, the jumpseat listing gets you one checked and one carry-on bag.

If you for whatever reason, check in at the ticket counter with out a checked bag, the agents can't wrap their head around why you don't have a checked bag...

"I don't need a checked bag"

"You paid for a checked bag, I need to check your checked bag."

"I don't have a checked bag."

"Your reservation said you paid for a checked bag."

"Im just trying to jumpseat."

"What's that?"

Spot on description of just one example of the non-stop clown show we experience every time we go to work. I used to get really frustrated but now I’m just amused🤡
