I'm not very familiar with Spirit and the role he played in your negotiations, but if his departure is anything like Babbit's departure at SWA, this is a very good sign towards a potential upcoming TA. Wishful thinking for you guys. Good luck!

I'd reserve my excitement until it's announced who's replacing him.

If you wonder why, think about who Bob placed as head of scheduling. If you don't know, reach out to the MEC and ask their opinion of said individual and his "fly it and grieve it" stance and his continued violation of our contract. Are any of you aware we currently have 2400 open grievances?

There is a strong possibility we will get someone much worse and more loathing of labor than Jyri ever was.

Have a great week.

I agree, I'm ecstatic that he is leaving. But yes, who is replacing him. I have seen it go both ways at my other airlines.

You don't think they will just end up leaving RR in there?

I'm going to have to change my profile. Not complaining though, good riddance. That guy was a cancer to the pilot group.

I would be partially optimistic. Now that Bendo is gone they will offer Allegiant plus 5% instead of plus 3%, work rules still gutted.

Dude Spirit is getting PBS like it or not. Look at the poll feedback. Union is pushing it done deal. PBS will gut the work rules period. Pull your head out your a$$ and realize whats slapping you in the face.
