Only count the portion above guarantee as on top of normal paycheck, otherwise you have to subtract the trip before you add it back at 200%.

Not arguing that...the OP was suggesting that a Spirit Captain lacks intelligence to not leave to go to ENVOY...

Which I guess makes us all morons as not one person in either seat has left this property for a regional

Under $4000/month take-home.

Flow throughs can be cancelled at the drop of a hat for no reason at all.

Ask me how I know. Or ask any of the hundreds of other Continental Express pilots who also had "A guaranteed job at Continental."

No gracias...you take my QOL I vote no... end of story
Dunno how your neighbor bids or what equipment he’s on, but I’m a 4th year narrowbody FO and fly four 3 day trips per month, every month. Pays just shy of 80 hours. If I want to make more, I’ll pick up a day trip or two, or ride the premium list, but most months I just fly my 12 days and be done with it.

Doesn’t mean we don’t have our problems at AA, but at least in our NYC base the schedules don’t *have* to be terrible.

Im not saying money is all that matters but jesus christ we are getting blow away compensation wise
Not to justify anything- but how many 3rd year CAs does AA have?

The bet is valid. Not one pilot has left Spirit for a regional. Flows end quickly.
cr700 thinks we are all low intelligence for not going to Envoy. He must be a paid recruiter.

I can answer that... ex TWA guy... now 73 FO... no idea how he bids but his schedule flat sucks compared to mine. Furthermore, no AA bashing from me. FAR superior to NK in almost every aspect. Again just stating the obvious that it’s a bit ridiculous to even comprehend for a millisecond that a left seater here would go fly a CRJ between Chicago and Moline “in hopes” of one day getting to AA. The proof is in the pudding, it hasn’t happened yet and I can garauntee it’s a route none of us will take. Call it pride call it what you want but there was a time here not too long ago when most of our new hires came from Envoy. Cr700 it will be a cold day in hell before anyone here stoops to that level.

I’d say that $70-80k is a realistic expectation for 2nd year pay at Spirit. Just looked back and I made $79,400 with Zero Junior Assignments. Take full advantage of Transition Conflicts and it’s not all that difficult.
