I want a schedule!
Willing to take first year pay cut.
A320 ain't a bad type.
Florida is nice in the winter.

TT - 2,000+
Multi. Turbine - 1,000+
Handful of TPIC

Do I have a snowballs shot in h*ll in getting "The Call"?

Dont cut off more than you can chew. Look at the new hire failure rate. You wash out...you are completely hosed.

You get a AA seniority number and upgrade at Envoy very FAST, you also get a $40k signing bonus, and looking at the numbers at AA the average age of a pilot is 58 years old! That 5 year flow will certainly come down! So, you can be at AA in 5yrs or less and get a signing bonus and be a CA at Envoy in months making more than Spirit!
I’m at Envoy and my perception is ANY seniority Spirit pilot would be 1000% better off in coming here. Guaranteed flow to AA, instant upgrade, DFW, MIA, LGA or ORD bade, 175s. No more BS Spirit payscale flying for the absolute bottom feeding North American carrier. Would highly recommend as many of you as possible to make the jump to Envoy.

If you get 1 pilot off probation that goes from Spirit to Envoy I'll give you $1000.

I’m not sure I would take that bet. If I were in my early to mid 20s, which a lot of our year 2 and 3 guys are, I’d go.

Not sure which makes me giggle more...
“GUARANTEED flow....” or “INSTANT upgrade....”

Aviation career history is LITTERED with folks who tried to cash those checks.....

Before taxes and any other deductions, guarantee will be about $5100/month, so that's a lot closer to $60k/year. Add on $400-$500/month per-diem and you're looking at $66k/year before taxes/deductions. If you fly well over guarantee and carefully utilize your 5 JRM trips only on trips worth 20 hrs credit or more, you could potentially get up to $80k. But you're going to have to work at it. For example, 5 20-hour JRM trips gets you an additional $7200 pre-tax which still doesn't get you close to $80k.

Typical take-home could be be around $3000-$3500/mo second year if you buy any benefits, a far cry from $80k.

$72 x 200% JM = $144 and $144 x 100 hours = $14400, not $7200.

That’s averaging 92 hours of credit on second year pay. So for every 72 hour guarantee month you need to have 112 the next month to average back to 92. Most lines are constructed right at 72 hours credit, five or take +5. So that’s a lot of gravy you need to seek out every month to make that happen.

You like those odds??
