AA pilots showed up and supported us, with their own signs, while Spirit pilots sat at home eating nachos and pulling their pud.
Thank you to the AA pilots and other pilots who came out. Lots of loud mouths on these forums and they don’t represent the majority of Spirit pilots who appreciate your support.

Not quite so fast
Dude said his neighbor is former TWA
@ 22 years makes him about a 96 hire - there weren't any in '95 - and his seniority number is probably twice that 6,400, or worse. Not going to look it up, but that group is on the list with and behind 2013 hires, and it is quite likely his schedules do suck that bad, and quite unlikely that he has any of the opportunities that it is supposed or was posted that he does.
Some schoolin', that...🙄

I missed the TWA part but regardless you’re not completely correct. If he was hired with TWA in 1996 his post acquisition hire date is 2001 with a seniority number of around 10000-14800, depending when he came back. Ex-TWA pilot saying he’s been at AA for 22 years means very little. He could have been furloughed in 2002 and came back in 2017. Yea 22 (1995-2017) years but bidding as a first year FO. If his neighbor took the first recall in 2013 he can hold 767 FO and bid 33% or 737 FO and bid 25% or junior captain on narrowbody (last vacancy went low 11000). My buddy is ex-TWA recall late 2014) 70% MIA FO 767. Dec has 3 trips, BSB and LIM 20+ hour overnights.
I bet his neighbors schedule sucks because he doesn’t know how to bid with PBS or he just came back.

There actually were classes in Nov and Dec 1995, so "22 years" is a possibility.
10 of those people left, Sen No's in the 11,862 to 11,876 range, with 2001 hires from somewhere.
The '96 hires range from 11,878 to 12,147, and are amongst someone's 2012 hires, and someone's 2001 hires.
Schedules may depend on his/her understanding or PBS, or which base and status he is in. LGA would be most junior, and afford the junior the best schedules. MIA has some really great flying, and some really crappy overnight "slash" trips (one leg out late, 25-30 hr layover, one leg early back...) that take up a lot of days on the calendar to get a full line.

BTW.. FWIW, etc...
Re the "22 year" thing.
UAL and DAL furloughees were credited with Length of Service beginning at their hire date for pay, vacation, etc. AA furloughees were credited with a 2 year bump, if they returned by a certain date.

Sad showing at the DFW event on turnout on the Spirit side, this is true. I flew in for the event and we had about 40 Spirit guys total, 10 American and probably 10 from other airlines. 40 Spirit pilots for a group of 1800 and a base of 220.
AA pilots showed up and supported us, with their own signs, while Spirit pilots sat at home eating nachos and pulling their pud.

I never said the integration was done the right/fair way, but that’s a completely different topic.
Two yea bump was pay not seniority.

FWIW, some of the loudest ones in DFW were not at this event. I guess they all were working...

"10900 is the first ex-TWA on the list ..."
I don't know what you mean by that.
I am ex TW ('88 hire...) and my number is 7763, or 7673, or something around there. I am on the list amongst East '88 hires and AA/West '99 hires, approximately.
There are former TW pilots with numbers in the mid 5,000 range.
This 22 year neighbor in question basically bids with someone's 2012 hires. I don't know who was hiring then, but it wasn't AA.
