Do any of you have the optional insurance offerings and what do you think of those?

Yes, sucks we have to pay for it, but the buy up LTD is kind of a no brainer. I had STD (non sexual) but dumped it. Per Dave Ramsey is a waste. It is spendy and is only a bridge (90 days) to LTD. Your can rely on sick/vacation time to bridge. And also the emergency fund we're all suppose to have!

I thought the same thing. Went out for 3.5 months, used all my sick, all my vacation, and still went 1 month without pay. Then later in the year I got sick for another 5 days and ran negative.

As of this moment, I literally have one minute in my sick bank. ONE MINUTE! So yeah, Short term disability for 2018.

Usually it’s cheaper to buy a new ticket than pay to transfer your ticket to a later flight. Plus we usually have 1 flight/day between many cities. So if you miss it. Your screwed until next day.

Our passengers tend to fall on the lower end of life's "reliability" scale when compared to passengers on other carriers.
