Guys please understand Bendo is running the old airline management playbook used for years. Spirit wanted transition because they hate paying us to stay home or even worse paying us twice/three times to come out to fly. The cost of TX stings. Spirit wants PBS for good reason, productivity gains! Those would be very large gains in productivity and Spirit can't wait to rub that in our face. The money added isn't enough to off set the gains. Spirit is playing 2 steps in front of us. They want PBS because they know without a doubt the cost savings and how much more productive they can be with PBS. PBS fixes a lot of issues they struggle with every month. I'd bet money they've had a company come in and run our monthly schedules using PBS to prove how PBS will clean up issues. Spirit can control PBS so their is ZERO open time. We are already seeing 28hr 4 days in DTW. That's not a fluke. How does 90 hrs with 13 days off sound? They can build your monthly line so if you don't live in base you soon will unwillingly! PBS under Spirit control is a NO VOTE! Don't do it!

One thing I really hated about PBS:
Before you open your award, you really have no idea what your line will look like.
At least with paper bidding you always know your worse case scenario.
I realize I'm a little woman baby man person, but sometimes I would feel physically ill when PBS unstacked and filled my month with untold aberrations.

PBS is a major concession. Most other carriers agreed to it in bankruptcy (DL, UA, AA) or were formed with PBS from the beginning of their existence (B6, VX). What we get in return for the concession is what matters.

It's not LOL! You've missed the point completely. I don't have an issue with 28 hr 4 days. I have an issue with 13 days off and 90 hrs a month. Plus zero open and drop time. That's what's in the pipe line. 12 days on 83/85 hrs is ok if that's what you want to bid. We will need the option to decompress too. Point is PBS with this management group and under their control is bad news for the pilot group. The union needs to focus on the back end. Bendo is already there waiting for us. Spirit is licking their chops for PBS. CONTRACT IS REVNUE POSITIVE WITH PBS for the company. BTW This is how my buddy at AA works. 90 hrs plus a month and can't get home/ to work on one or both ends of a trip.

I get it you ignorant hillbillies. I said 28hr CREDIT 4-days.
Its about trip rig, and having the ability to control PBS.
Its really simple. PBS is a tool for BIDDING and awarding flying.
You can do anything you want via work rules. Xx amount of flying needs to be in open time etc.
The problem with you simpletons is that you arent capable of “thinking outside the box” you are using your experience from some POS regional airline and assume PBS here would be like there.
If and I mean IF we do get PBS it will be by us educating ourselves and voting it in, not via BK like Continental.
And again, if the company wants PBS they are fng kidding themselves with their insulting payrates that they wasted their time mailing to us
