You seem to be talking from both sides od your mouth.
If Spirit management wants PBS, they just need to pick a contract. United, American, SWA, FedEx, Delta or UPS.

Oh no you didnt just state the obvious to the Spirit cheerleaders. I have stated this numerous times on these threads and gotten chastised for it. The bottom line, in simple terms is this: Spirit is not DL AA SW or UA. They are a pimple on the face of those 4 airlines. Swallow the pill and just come to reality and realize that the mediator also understands that you are not the big 4 also. Ask yourselves this. When you were hired at Spirit did you have the pride and joy as those who were hired at the big 4? Did you think “man I hit the jackpot”? Did you think man I will be paid the same and have a comparable contract as those 4? The answer to all the above is NO!!!!! So why the hell are you acting like the tinny and ULCC airline you are at is going to be on par with the aforementioned airlines. Spirit compared to the others is like comparing apples and oranges. I was at Spirit for a very short period and got out. Its time the rest of the Spirit group does the same.

Guys please understand Bendo is running the old airline management playbook used for years. Spirit wanted transition because they hate paying us to stay home or even worse paying us twice/three times to come out to fly. The cost of TX stings. Spirit wants PBS for good reason, productivity gains! Those would be very large gains in productivity and Spirit can't wait to rub that in our face. The money added isn't enough to off set the gains. Spirit is playing 2 steps in front of us. They want PBS because they know without a doubt the cost savings and how much more productive they can be with PBS. PBS fixes a lot of issues they struggle with every month. I'd bet money they've had a company come in and run our monthly schedules using PBS to prove how PBS will clean up issues. Spirit can control PBS so their is ZERO open time. We are already seeing 28hr 4 days in DTW. That's not a fluke. How does 90 hrs with 13 days off sound? They can build your monthly line so if you don't live in base you soon will unwillingly! PBS under Spirit control is a NO VOTE! Don't do it!
