Hello PBS; Goodbye QOL

Plz take the male appendix measuring contest between Allegiant and Spirit to another forum.
Can we get back to worrying about PBS?
No one wants PBS, but the negotiators are pushing it. Why?

Sometimes decisions that are difficult must be made. The negotiations will not continue unless the company or Alpa bend on their proposals. Give and take. Most do not want PBS I agree. But most do not want to stay in limbo (according to the surveys) if we try and get everything we want. The NMB has decided the company has been reasonable so they might not offer much more. The decision comes down to do you want to keep our current contract or get raises with pbs (however it may be implemented). Again not an easy decision for those who enjoy our work rules.

People just won't admit it face to face that they care more about pay and less about QOL. If you want to make more money, be at home more, then live in base. This phenomenon is not unique to any one airline.
PBS or not, you'll enjoy an unparalleled QOL by driving to work than 90% of your friends in any other profession.

Why? Because the survey said otherwise.

Everyone is hiring and with all the airlines there is a nice offering of domiciles. It’s not like you are commuting here for a superior contract. Do your best to get on somewhere you can live in base. It will literally change your life. My commuting life seemed to drag on like torture and I was going to quit the industry after doing it for nearly a decade. It’s also not good for your health no matter how much you like where you live.

LOL dude I've offered multiple times for you to dm me so I can prove to you're sad self that I do in fact work here but you always puss out. But then again you think anyone who isn't one of your multiple screen names is a troll so there's that. While you're at it you can go ahead and try to defend Allegiant's joke of a contract.
