Huge? No...slight...possibly...you are on the 190...tons of open time on the Bus down here. Well, not so much October, but that’s a weak OT month anyway.

I remember seeing estimates that PBS requires 8-10% less pilots for the same amount of flying. If true, yea that’s huge.

I haven’t come across a single person that said they will vote yes on a contract with PBS. Everyone that a have talked to knows the value of our current line bidding and how well it works with our other work rules. The regional airlines have shown how PBS will ruin QOL.
Hard to believe. My experience with discussing pbs is pretty split between yes and no but leaning more yes. Definitely a divisive issue though

I agree that this IS th big win mgmt wants this round at Spirit. That said they’re smoking crack if they think those subpar pay rates will get them pbs

Estimates are one thing and reality is another, I’m sure with some PBS programs the savings are more and some are less. It really depends on the programming. We still have about the same amount of pilots as we did pre-PBS so that tells me the savings haven’t been realized or they were a lot smaller in reality. I think we’d notice 1,500 less guys here...

On the FA side the company estimated annual cost savings of around $10m/yr. I don’t know about the pilot side.

I don’t want to hijack this thread anymore but you’re really simplifying the situation.

[QUOTE=Lincoln Osiris;2455335]So guys at every legacy airline have no QOL?[/QUOTE
So you favor PBS like the legacy airlines but not their hourly rates?
You seem to be talking from both sides od your mouth.
If Spirit management wants PBS, they just need to pick a contract. United, American, SWA, FedEx, Delta or UPS.
Or do you just want to cherry pick?
