About RES DROPS:
There are ways to avoid what is considered "abuse" of middle RES drops.
Negotiate a reasonable limit of total drops per year and month, with a stricter allowance for middle days.
"Checker board" not allowed.
Incorrect that other airlines have no res drops.
Other airlines have better sick leave and more accommodating crew scheduling.
Eliminating RES drops is NOT the solution.
It will negatively impact reserve lines, staffing, open time and green days.

They mentioned people who quit won't be entitled to any fund. I agree 100%.
And then you try and spin it into being selfish and making it an LTD thing, and bring families of deceased pilots into the conversation. Thats pathetic and low. Spin, all spin.
I would have a huge problem if any retro payment was diluted to cut checks to people who pulled the ripcord and are not on property any longer. This isnt being selfish, its being logical.
But nice attempt at spin and pushing your anti-MEC/NC agenda.
Union Buster...add you to the list.

Excluding classes? No...They mentioned any pilot on property will be eligible and the list of criteria in the ALPA bylaws that dictate requirements to be met for any disbursement of a retro.

No, you need to be on property when a TA is voted in. It's possible this could take another year or 2. I wouldn't turn down a job because Spirit may reach a settlement. If Spirit wanted to talk to the Union it would be done. Not interested.
