I don't think they will hang up on you. You have a good question, would like to hear an open dialogue of the question and answer. If they ask you yo hang up for asking a particular question, then I will be the first to question them as to why they can't formulate an answer. So far, PS has been above board and has been reasonable to those asking questions. I don't expect anything less from him or other members of the NC who are on the call.

So which one of y’all is going to ask the NC today: “If we are going to monetize work rules for pay, why didn’t we do this back in 2015?” The Spirit MEC wouldn’t be the first ALPA MEC to sell work rules for pay.
Or...
“How did the Spirit flight attendants successfully negotiate a new CBA two years ago without PBS, yet Spirit ALPA is unable to?”

Without full retro and agreeing to work rule concessions (PBS), it’s likely our future CBA will track close to ‘COLA only’ from the amendable date. I hope I’m wrong, but that will be easy to verify once this process is complete.

If there is so much savings to unlock via PBS, how could the larger employee group (flight attendants) secure another CBA without it? If they are the more pliable work group from the perspective of management, why were they able to keep line bidding? The flight attendant contract was cost neutral (I wouldn’t go so far to call it concessionary).

They secured a CBA without PBS after nine years that offered no value increase. I’m not a PBS cheerleader and in fact quite anti pbs I’m just saying that comparing us to the flight attendants isn’t a good comparison. They are a larger group but the cost savings to Management is not the same.

So despite what the NC said on the call, Delta pilots don't have to call scheduling or the chief pilot to drop a reserve day. It's done electronically just like at Spirit. Overall, I can't say I'm impressed at all with what I heard on the call. It sounds like the NC is contemplating excluding classes of pilots from retro (such as those who quit). Disgraceful and I hope that doesn't happen.
