Trust you? OK... I'm gonna get right on that. In the meanwhile, I'm gonna call you out for being a troll. Why are you talking about this stuff here? Your so called questions would be answered in one phone call, which makes me think you don't want answers. You only want to be heard... Which says your a troll. You are not even that great a troll. Your talking points are pretty weak. Your not that intelligible and when you try and make a point, it is only because of someone else's statement, which means you can't make an argument. In turn, you don't have a side, except to divide... Lmao. That means you're an a$$... Just sayin...

Well why don't you call or e mail then because the last 3 times I've called the 3 answers I have gotten are the same 3 things I mentioned prior (not exact phraseology about the twiddling of the thumbs but you get the idea). I wouldn't say my talking points are weak I am just stating facts that need to be taken into consideration so we can wake up out of fantasy land. The company has ZERO incentive to move on anything we ask, that is just a fact, no one wants to hear that but its true. If stating pure facts make me a "troll" to make you feel better than fine by me, but I am a member of this pilot group, one of us, I am just looking at the stone cold numbers instead of "feelings" and "what we deserve", because the company could give a crap about either no matter how much we complain and do phone polls and pickets.

I'm not going to start debating specifics when we both know management reads these boards. My "master plan" doesn't matter since I am not in the MEC, however I am allowed to criticize and bring us down to Earth a bit here. But I can tell you it wouldn't be to conduct a phone poll and then sit around for the next X number of years hoping something magical will happen. Especially when we have zero leverage and are no longer in mediation. With a screen name like "popachubby" I think if anyone is the troll here its you. You guys are sure obsessed with the name troll.

He doesn't answer me, but calls in to question your reason for being here. I know poppa and he ain't the troll here. Lincoln just said he is trying to bring us down to earth. Did you forget we are all on the same boards? I'm done giving you the benefit of the doubt. Your a horrible troll. Your insights aren't even dividing us. You might even be uniting us. I would imagine your bosses might be ****ed about that one. It's funny, but all you guys have dreams of going out on your own and doing some union busting. You might have a hard time with this one. Maybe family law would be more your speed. You know, last will and testament and such. It's a good living and you really don't need wits... Sounds great for you. Once you set it up, post here, because we will all have estates to be processed. I promise we will be nice!

I'd think its a heck of a lot easier negotiating for an 20% raise than a 60% raise.
My questions is, are you really in a better position now than you would be had you taken a 3 year deal back in 2015?
Realistically, I think your group will be lucky to get a deal by 2020, and the type of deal is yet to be seen. I also think your MEC and NC made a gross miscalculation in tactics that's brought you to this point. It's all water under the bridge now, too much pride involved now to take a non-legacy type deal (even though you may not get it anyhow). Might as well promote unity.
This is just my casual observation.

I'm just saying...had Spirit pilots taken an 3 year JetBlue/Allegiant type contract in Aug of 15, you'd be negotiating for an 10%-25% raise right now instead of for an 40%-60% raise, at the same time with possibly 1 or 2 hundred grand more in your pockets for the years past. And a few hundred grand more if the company stalls vs your current situation.
