Big Decision to Make

Pretty sure your union is less concerned about you negotiating in public (let's be honest, who gives a F), than about its pilots having an open forum to discuss its discontent at their leaders, whom have led its members to a position of prolonged "negotiations" stalemate, that they realize will result in what you'd call a "substandard" contract anyhow years down the line.

Do you honestly think that you can manage expectations by posting on apc? The handful of pilots on here using multiple screen names, lol. Get a life.

Half of this threads post are from trolls. The original poster, Feng, and sour grapes. An overwhelming majority of the guys at spirit are staying off these boards, but just a few of you still don't get it. For those still posting on here you are the 1% - figure it out ladies.

Right! We also took paycuts, gave away a ton of our flying to GoJet and established a flow through with them. I think in our desperation as our upgrade time currently runs right at 50 years, we are also establishing a flow with Billy Bob's Flying Service as well.
Yes sir, you are a troll.
Good luck to my Spirit brothers and sisters!

Utter nonsense.
The Spirit pilots hold all the cards.
Be patient and stand 100% with your negotiators.
Your strike vote said it all.
Management will make empty threats and spread rumors.
Take the time to email your reps and negotiators. One sentence.
I support you 100%.
Full retro is a given. Anything less rewards management for negotiating in bad faith and dragging their feet.

Nice try Han Solo------The new four-year contract includes an immediate 15 percent pay raise, which covers increases for 2013, 2014 and 2015 while the contract was being negotiated. Pilots will also receive retroactive pay to cover missed wages during the negotiations, as well as 3 percent pay increases in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.----and note Han Solo, that's 15% above the average of southwest pilots pay of $230,626 in 2015. The company has set aside $356 million to cover union contract bonuses due to the labor agreements. You should call your rep Han Solo, you got screwed.
