Big Decision to Make

after hearing the phone call the other day, i think we actually have to get rid of alpa. they are going to railroad us again. they do not have our best interests at heart. what's the difference, they told us we are never going to get a release anyway. if we let them, alpa is going to screw us again....enough is enough alpa

You are right. I'm checking out for a while. The management trolls are full in force to try and convince us that this is the best and only offer. Our pilot group is smarter than that. We have a lot of fight left in us and we will prevail because management hates our current contract. They can't stand our work rules, transition conflict, reserve drops, line bidding and some of the other little QOL gems we currently have.
Peace out.

Pretty sure your union is less concerned about you negotiating in public (let's be honest, who gives a F), than about its pilots having an open forum to discuss its discontent at their leaders, whom have led its members to a position of prolonged "negotiations" stalemate, that they realize will result in what you'd call a "substandard" contract anyhow years down the line.
