Spirit Questions
Hello, I have some questions regarding Spirit.
1) Is it possible to get FLL right after IOE ?
2) How does Spirit build its trips , is it just like any other airline or does the FLL base have a lot of out & back type trips. I live minutes from FLL and really do not want to spend more than 10 nights a month in a hotel.
3) How long can I expect to be on reserve at FLL
4) How much does the health insurance for a family of 4 cost ?
( Basic plan no frills)
Thanks in advance

1. Maybe. Depends on seniority in class.
2. Don't come then. Most likely you'll do more than 10. I've seen out and back lines before but you can't bank on it. If you interview tell them you can't do more than 10 nights.
3. Depends on growth, never know for sure.
4. Depends on plan you end up choosing, it's not cheap. No insurance for 90 days BTW.

No training contract, hotel is paid for. Either of those bases you could have within a few months. All recent new hires start in ACY or FLL.

Greetings. I've been lurking for the better part of a year. Finally signed up!
I'm stuck in a 135/91 gig that's slipping down a slope. I took the Spirit personality questionnaire a few days ago and waiting for a response.
4800tt
700tpic (135/91 Citation)
3500 sic (121 RJ)
No degree
Mid 30s.
Looking to get back to 121 that isn't a regional.
Lots of great info here, I appreciate that. So thank you to all that have contributed.

Go to a regional with flow, or go back to college.
