I guess now we know

when we do sign a contract, i want new management to take the reigns. I've lost all faith in these people. They have no clue how to run an airline. We all see evidence of this every day. They can't even properly get a hotel room booked on a reserve assignment. Last time i helped out it took 3 phone calls and 4 faxes to get the hotel the proper paperwork... All at 2am. A mentally challenged 8 year old foreigner can figure that out. They actually believe this gojet flow is going to fix their staffing problems, which is laughable. News flash: Nobody wants to go to gojet or spirit! They think they can say "we are going to soften our edges and start treating our customers with respect, but then treat their employees terribly- like pay their pilots 50% less than their peers, fire the gate agents and contract them out. Now i don't have a masters in airline management, but that seems like a bad recipe...

Extremely impressive for such a large pilot group.
Your fellow ALPA members are 100% behind you and will be standing shoulder to shoulder with you on the picket line. If it comes to that.

Who's who of airline chop-shop leadership.
A few of the airlines that changed course under the leadership of our management: AirTran, Pinnacle, Comair, Northwest, US Airways, and bless their heart... Frontier. At least they have their parachutes on.
I'm sure additional polling will be next and a hiatus from mediation, not at all getting close to being released so don't give them any excuse to try and hold us in contempt of court for the TRO. Be the professional, unified group of aviators that you are. Give them no question as to your dedication to the success of the airline and command the respect and compensation that you deserve.
