I say we just bump the threshold up to 16 hours for the long layover hotels. There really should be a distance and time limit though for transportation "local" in nature. Some of the hotel drives really should qualify for surface deadhead pay!

Any of you complaining should probably stay away for UA, AA and DL. You haven't seen a long van ride until you land in NRT and drive to Tokyo. Or PVG......I swear that airport is in another country. You haven't seen traffic until you land in CDG at 7am on a week day.

And what are you basing this on? I've worked over the phone with these guys on a few minor issues and they did a great job. If it wasn't for them or the contract language we have you wouldn't believe the sh*t holes we'd be in (the company recently tried).
