That is terrible, this idea.

In my personal experience, I have flown with very senior guys who are happy with Spirit. I’m sorry to say, I have not flown with anyone that shares your opinion. Yes they all agree on various issues that will improve this place. But overall, the guys and ladies I have flown with are content, and thats not to say they don’t want better.
To the contrary, I rarely fly with anyone who is content and most are looking to move on. Everyone recognizes the toxic moral that comes from the constant operational failures, lack of contract, and poor customer treatment. Concerns for the future too. You can only run a crap operation for so long before it backfires, ala Ryan Air's recent implosion.

Really dude? The COMPANY should provide the new hires with the appropriate content and ample time for them to study prior to coming. Scratch that... the company should provide new hires a realistic timeline and training structure starting on their first day of training that allows success without studying prior to starting class. Stop being a d-bag and making excuses for this place.

The moral isn't all that bad here. I actually enjoy working for Spirit. Yeah the contract negotiations are frustrating and we deserve a lot more pay but that will come. I and others do not want to go to United, Delta, etc. Don't follow all the doom and gloom from frustrated internet warriors. Go out and actually talk to Spirit pilots. Yes training is intense but study and you will do fine. I wish our management could run this airline like Southwest and that is my dream that this place could be the future Southwest.

I agree with chimpy on this one. You also lose credibility with a handle like gravy choker. But the moral comment is where your WAY off! I'm a pretty "happy-go lucky" kinda guy yet my moral is in the toilet right now, as is every pilot I fly with........

Why's the moralE in the toilet when you'RE doing so much winning?

Do people lose credibility if they have a hard time composing an error free sentence?

He's not very "happy go lucky" either. He's one of the biggest A holes on here.

Maybe a little. Spirit has historically hired pilots, not English professors. Now they hire warm bodies.
