FLL International Additions
"This summer, with the completion of our new international Concourse A in Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Southwest will expand our footprint and add new domestic and international service from the Station.
Today, I’m in FLL to announce Southwest’s additions of new nonstop daily domestic service between FLL and Washington/Dulles (IAD) and Philadelphia (PHL), as well as five roundtrips each weekday between FLL and Orlando (MCO).
On the international front, we’ll be adding daily international roundtrips between FLL and Belize (BZE), Cancun (CUN), and Montego Bay (MBJ). Additionally, we’ve filed our intent with the DOT to serve Grand Cayman (GCM) from Ft. Lauderdale! These new flights join existing international service between FLL and Nassau (NAS), Bahamas, as well as three cities in Cuba, Varadero (VRA), Santa Clara (SNU), and Havana (HAV).
This is an exciting time for Southwest and our Cohearts in FLL. I would like to give special thanks to all of our Employees that have done and will continue to do tremendous work in growing Southwest’s footprint in Florida."
