Mesa CA here. A bunch of us are pretty sick of where we are with the shenanigans JO is pulling on us. What I USED to like about Mesa was there used to be plenty of reserves, and I could drop trips or parts of trips anytime I wanted. What is it like there in that regard? Plenty of reserves for dropping? And is it like Mesa used to be where you can drop parts of trips that you don't want? I understand some airlines only allow you to drop entire trips or nothing at all. TIA!

[QUOTE=ZapBrannigan;2340611]The scope language in the new CBA severely limits what the company would be able to do with such a stake. I sincerely doubt it would be worth it to them.
Who knows all they have to do is ask the union and we might let them do it. Gives them routes and feed to S. America and they can run it like a regional. No need to bring their pilots onboard with us and doubt they could since they don't have FAA license.
United and delta both have their own south of the border feed why shouldn't GK?
For the record I really hope and would not expect our union to sell this idea to us, but I wouldn't put it past GK to try. Hence my two beer bet.

What to do
Ok guys and gals, this is my predicament, and Im simply looking for advice here. I am a 46 year old corporate pilot flying a Citation X. I have about 6200tt with 2500 being turbine pic. I have just been furloughed from my current company. I am attending the SWA job fair on Saturday. SWA is really the only airline I am interested in with Alaska being a close second. My current options are XO jet, or bite the bullet and head to a regional for hopefully a short stay I would prefer Horizon or Skywest. Being that SWA is my goal what do you think? Thanks
