I've read the TA. I went to a road show (or watched online). I've determined what areas the TA meets my needs, and in what ways it doesn't.

Voting begins in 4 days and I am leaning...

Was a firm yes. Now after the delta TA, I am waiting for word from Jon and Casey, both of whom I trust to have the bigger picture and my best interests in mind.

I was a firm no before, and even firmer no now.

Seeing as Delta turned down the company offer than matched or exceeded the platform why are people surprised that they eventually got platform plus in their TA?

Had Delta had an AIP before ours was TA'ed, SWAPA would have had the leverage to get Platform. TA2 is one Billion $ short.

If we agree to TA2, Delta will pretty much get to vote on 2 contracts before ours is amendable again. Delta's AIP is more than 6% higher in pay and our other benefits sucks in comparison.

People are not surprised Delta finally has an AIP. They just didn't want the risk of waiting for it to happen and create the leverage that was needed. Now it's here before we even start voting on ours.
