Had Delta had an AIP before ours was TA'ed, SWAPA would have had the leverage to get Platform. TA2 is one Billion $ short.
If we agree to TA2, Delta will pretty much get to vote on 2 contracts before ours is amendable again. Delta's AIP is more than 6% higher in pay and our other benefits sucks in comparison.

I was a yes
Now I'm a No leaner.
Still waiting to hear from JW CM & HK
I believe they were saying in the road show (reading between the lines)..."The NMB forced us to send this" now if you want parity vote no..
But I could be reading into this

Leaning NO
Disability is my main reason.
Pay, implementation, and a few other smaller issues also help support my no vote.
But with that said...I very much support and appreciate and respect our swapa guys. They did a great job.

The implementation schedule of certain pay and work rules due to our archaic IT is ridiculous. I'm not sure why last week the TA2 was great and now that delta has an AIP it's no longer good enough. Everyone had to know that delta was going to get something like this in the near future.
Hopefully they can go back and ask to fix some issues and have it out to vote only a couple weeks later.
Add another 3% on snap up. Make the B fund 15% right off the bat not have to wait 3 yrs to get there and make all pay improvements effective date of signing not 6 months later when IT can figure it out.

I agree. Once we drive this baby off the lot, though, she is ours. The timing with Delta allows us to continue the negotiation. I would expect the company to sweeten the deal a little bit or they run the chance of this being a close call and perhaps a defeat resulting in a 6 month delay as we all figure this out.

I REALLY, REALLY hope SWAPA is presently talking to the company about sweetening the deal slightly to make sure it passes. Delayed implementation of certain compensation bumps (especially the reserve pay) due to SWA being IT retarded is complete horse$7!t and absolutely unacceptable.
